The Role

As a Customer Support Specialist at Zonneplan, you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting them in optimizing their smart energy solutions. You will engage with customers via phone, email, and chat, delivering clear and friendly support for products such as solar panels, home batteries, charging stations, and energy contracts. In addition to addressing customer inquiries, you will identify recurring issues, provide valuable insights to internal teams, and help enhance customer processes and knowledge resources.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact for customers through phone, email, and chat.
• Offer support regarding solar panels, home batteries, charging stations, and energy contracts.
• Take ownership of customer inquiries and ensure effective resolution of issues.
• Identify recurring customer questions, product issues, and areas for process improvement.
• Share customer insights with colleagues and relevant teams.
• Contribute to the enhancement of Zonneplan's chatbot and knowledge base.
• Maintain accurate customer records and adhere to established processes.
• Stay updated on new products, technologies, and energy solutions.
• Participate in training to continuously improve product and customer service knowledge.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve customer satisfaction and team objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level.
• At least 2 years of experience in a customer-focused role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to clearly and professionally explain technical topics.
• Structured and precise approach to work.
• Capability to follow processes and maintain accurate records.
• Genuine interest in energy technology, electric mobility, and sustainable solutions.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with a willingness to take ownership.
