We are seeking a Japanese-speaking Customer Support Officer to enhance our international FX/CFD brokerage team. In this position, you will assist clients from account opening and onboarding to resolving various account, platform, and technical queries.

The Role

As a Customer Support Officer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to clients, ensuring a seamless trading experience. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with trading account opening, maintenance, and onboarding.
• Responding to customer inquiries through email, phone, and internal support channels.
• Conducting welcome calls and following up to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Providing guidance on the company's trading platforms, products, and services.
• Handling account, administrative, and back-office related inquiries.
• Assisting clients with technical issues, including troubleshooting MetaTrader.
• Professionally managing customer complaints and ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborating with internal departments to efficiently resolve customer issues.
• Escalating complex or sensitive cases to the appropriate teams as needed.
• Supporting selected marketing activities, including campaign translation and event coordination.
• Educating clients on product features and platform functionality.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience and contributing ideas for business growth.

Requirements

• Native or fluent Japanese, both written and spoken.
• Fluent English, minimum B2 level.
• University or college degree.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Comfortable using CRM systems, email platforms, and various computer applications.
• Previous experience in customer support and/or familiarity with CRM and support tools.
• Ability to work independently while being an effective team player.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
