The Role

We are seeking a Cultural Insights Intern to join our strategy and insights team. In today's fast-paced world, the connection between social media, brands, and culture is crucial. Understanding cultural developments is key for our clients, as brands shape culture and vice versa. This role goes beyond research; it involves uncovering insights that inform strategies and storytelling for significant projects. We will guide you in navigating the complex cultural landscape strategically.

Responsibilities

• Conduct social listening and engage with platforms like TikTok, Discord, and Reddit to immerse yourself in new trends and subcultures.
• Collaborate with strategy teams to curate insightful plans and creative concepts.
• Support the team in delivering insight-driven work and updating them on cultural shifts.
• Maintain internal reports and contribute to the 'Social Heartbeat' team.
• Develop a trends framework and insight library for clients and internal teams.

Requirements

• Passion for the intersection of brands and culture, with a desire to explore cultural dynamics.
• Enrollment in Marketing, Communications, or related studies where (pop)culture is significant.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile environment, with a quick learning ability.
• Curiosity about marketing trends and youth culture, with a desire to understand client connections to trends.
• Open-minded, eager to learn, and collaborative.
