The Opportunity

We are seeking a Cultural Insights Intern to join our strategy and insights team. In today's fast-paced environment, social media, brands, and culture are intricately linked. Brands influence culture, and culture, in turn, shapes brands. Therefore, understanding cultural dynamics is crucial for our clients.

This role goes beyond mere research; it involves uncovering exciting insights that form the foundation of strategies and storytelling for some of our most significant projects. We understand that culture can be complex and fragmented, but we will guide you on how to approach it strategically, equipping you with the tools and knowledge to navigate this exciting journey with us.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

• Conduct social listening by exploring feeds, TikTok FYP, Discord servers, and Reddit threads to immerse yourself in new platforms, internet subcultures, and conversations that enhance our understanding of the digital landscape.
• Collaborate with our strategy teams to curate and create insightful plans and creative concepts.
• Empower the broader team to deliver insight-driven work, keeping them updated on cultural shifts. Maintain internal reports and briefing sessions and play a key role in our 'Social Heartbeat' team.
• Assist in developing a trends framework and insight library that will serve as a resource for clients and internal teams.

We are looking for a student in fields such as Marketing and Communications or other relevant studies where (pop)culture plays a vital role.
