In this permanent, full-time position (38 hours per week) within the Research & Development Vegetables department located in Zeewolde, you will be responsible for executing and coordinating agronomic tasks on our trial fields. You will work with thirteen different vegetable crops, including cabbage, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, peas, beans, spinach, sweet corn, and onions.
We operate small trial plots for our breeding activities, making quality, precision, and understanding of plot layout essential. You will ensure that seeds, plants, labels, numbers, and samples are correctly positioned to prevent mixing and to collect reliable data.
You will actively participate in fieldwork while also supervising colleagues and temporary workers. The planning may change due to capacity, weather conditions, or new trial requests. You will maintain oversight, prioritize tasks, and ensure careful execution of work.
