Als Critical Environment Technician (CET) in het Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team van Microsoft, ben je verantwoordelijk voor het onderhoud van de kritieke infrastructuur die onze datacenters draaiende houdt. Dit omvat het coördineren met leveranciers, het herkennen van veilige en onveilige werkomgevingen, en het uitvoeren van diverse onderhoudstaken. Je reageert op incidenten ter plaatse en werkt samen met andere professionals in kritieke faciliteiten, terwijl je gebruik maakt van telemetrie en andere platforms om de prestaties van apparatuur en operaties te monitoren. CO+I is de motor achter onze cloudservices, waaronder Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, en het Microsoft Azure-platform.

Verantwoordelijkheden

  • Functie als operationeel specialist in een belangrijk gebied van CE-operaties (bijv. elektrisch, mechanisch, controles, generatoren) en zelfstandig geavanceerde taken uitvoeren.
  • Regelmatig inspecteren en toezicht houden op kritieke faciliteiten gerelateerde apparatuur (bijv. controles, HVAC-systemen), gebouwen en terreinen voor onveilige of abnormale omstandigheden.
  • Gebruik maken van het interne Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) om alle apparatuur te volgen en werkorderverzoeken voor onderhoud te voltooien.
  • Veilig en snel reageren op incidenten en leiding geven aan teams ter plaatse voor abnormale omstandigheden die de operaties beïnvloeden.
  • Nieuwe noodprocedures ontwikkelen of bestaande procedures volgen in verband met CE-operaties en incidenten.
  • Onder minimale supervisie verschillende soorten onderhoud en reparaties uitvoeren volgens procedures.
  • Praktische kennis hebben van hoe apparatuur werkt en zelfstandig problemen oplossen.
  • Consult geven aan minder ervaren collega's bij het oplossen van systemen en problemen.
  • Veiligheids- en beveiligingseisen volgen en waarborgen.
