Als Crane Operator ben je verantwoordelijk voor de veilige en efficiënte werking van de kranen en hijsapparatuur van het schip. Je voert hijsoperaties uit volgens projectvereisten, procedures en veiligheidsvoorschriften. In nauwe samenwerking met de dekcrew en de brug draag je bij aan de veilige uitvoering van de dagelijkse operaties.

Als Crane Operator draag je bij aan veilige en efficiënte operaties door proactief risico's te identificeren en hijsactiviteiten te coördineren met andere afdelingen. Door zorgvuldige planning, duidelijke communicatie en nauwkeurige administratie help je de naleving van veiligheids-, milieu- en wettelijke vereisten te waarborgen. Jouw verantwoordelijkheden omvatten:
- Veilig bedienen van kranen en missiematerieel, ook onder uitdagende omstandigheden op zee;
- Plannen en coördineren van hijsoperaties met de dekafdeling;
- Identificeren en rapporteren van operationele risico's en verbeterkansen;
- Bijhouden van operationele, veiligheids- en wettelijke registraties;
- Ondersteunen van minder ervaren bemanningsleden en bevorderen van een veilige werkomgeving aan boord.
