The Role

As a Course Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging instruction in Elementary School Science, fostering an understanding of scientific concepts and processes among students.

Responsibilities

Deliver course content in accordance with the Quebec Education program and partnering school board curriculum.
Integrate pedagogical approaches that emphasize equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Modify course content to align with the community's educational, social, and cultural context.
Participate in course coordination and planning activities prior to the course start date.
Ensure course content reflects the latest advancements in the field.

Requirements

A Master’s degree or significant related experience.
Expert knowledge of course content and the Quebec Education program.
Experience teaching in the Quebec elementary school system and familiarity with Indigenous pedagogies.
Proven record of integrating Indigenous knowledge into curriculum and instructional approaches.
Demonstrated knowledge of Indigenous issues in First Nations and Inuit contexts.

Additional Information
