The Role

As a Cost Engineer in Electrical Engineering, you guide and support the pricing process from the initiation phase to project evaluation. You advise on budgets and help find the right balance between time, money, quality, and risks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cost analyses and prepare reliable cost prices and estimates (from VO to UO).
• Optimize designs based on Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analyses.
• Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and other disciplines.
• Keep cost data and key figures current and usable.
• Evaluate partner offers and ensure coherence and integrity.

You will work within the Planning Development department, a centrally organized department in Bunnik. This department plays a key role in translating client requests into concrete, feasible, and distinctive solutions. Planning Development serves as the connecting link between commerce, technology, and execution, contributing significantly to securing and successfully preparing new assignments.

Requirements

You are an experienced cost engineer with an eye for detail and the bigger picture. You work systematically and think ahead.

Additionally, you have:

• At least a bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Additional training such as TVVL (preferred).
• Experience with contract forms such as UAV and UAV-GC.
• Knowledge of pricing and budgeting methodologies.
• Insight into relevant laws and regulations.
