The Corporate Affairs team offers a unique working experience within ING. We are seeking a confident and skilled Corporate Secretary to the Management Board (EB/MBB) to drive effective governance and experience 'an MBA on the job'. As Corporate Secretary, you will gain exposure to strategic decision-making and collaborate closely with senior leaders, acting as a trusted advisor to the EB/MBB while supporting ING’s corporate boards.

The Role

In this position, you will be at the heart of ING’s corporate governance, ensuring effective decision-making and seamless board operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Proactively organizing board meetings from start to finish, including agenda preparation and document distribution.
• Producing high-quality minutes that capture board decisions and action points.
• Managing actions resulting from board meetings by engaging with stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Preparing and managing the annual cycle planning of board meetings.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and governance frameworks.
• Contributing to the Annual Report and managing updates to the Decision Structure ING.

Requirements

• Academic degree (master’s) preferably with legal affinity.
• Minimum of 6 years working experience in a corporate environment.
• Profound understanding of corporate governance and legal matters.
• Excellent skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
