• Contribute to the development, calibration, maintenance, and documentation of the Solvency II internal model and its underlying methodologies.
• Analyze internal model results, sensitivities, and capital requirement movements, translating them into clear conclusions for management and stakeholders.
• Support independent model validation, model change assessments, and remediation of findings from internal or regulatory reviews.
• Strengthen the internal model control and governance framework, ensuring data quality and proper documentation.
• Collaborate with Risk, Finance, Investment, Product, and local actuarial teams for consistent application of the internal model across Benelux.
• Provide input to governance committees, explaining model outcomes and proposed changes.
• Contribute to strategic projects such as regulatory developments and capital optimization.

Must haves:

• Proactive and pragmatic attitude with a track record of delivering complex actuarial or modeling projects.
• Ability to work in a regional setting with diverse cultures.
• Master’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, econometrics, finance, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of relevant actuarial experience, with hands-on exposure to a Solvency II internal model or comparable risk-capital framework.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to engage with technical experts and senior management.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience with actuarial modeling platforms and programming languages such as WTW RiskAgility FM, Python, R, or C++, and capable of analyzing model calculations and large datasets.

Nice to have:

• Strong knowledge of Solvency II, including model governance and regulatory expectations.
• Experience with life insurance risks and asset liability modeling.
• Understanding of model calibration, stress testing, and capital aggregation.
• Fluency in Dutch or French.
• Actuarial certification (AAG, IABE, or similar).
