The Role

To build state-of-the-art treatment for youth with autism, we need a pioneer. De Lupine is the autism clinic of Youz in Capelle aan den IJssel, where we treat young people with autism and complex additional issues for whom outpatient treatment is insufficient. However, we aspire to do more.

In the coming period, we aim to develop De Lupine into an even more specialized clinic for autism, where current knowledge about autism is reflected in diagnostics, treatment, and the clinical living environment. We critically examine existing practices, dare to translate new insights into practice, and continually ask: what does this young person need to develop further?

We are looking for a coordinating treatment specialist who wants to pioneer. You will hold a central substantive position within the clinic, responsible for the coherence and quality of complex treatment trajectories. However, we seek more than someone who merely coordinates existing treatments; we want someone who will help build what specialized autism care should be today and tomorrow.

What does state-of-the-art treatment for autism mean? Which new scientific and clinical insights should we bring to De Lupine? How do we ensure that treatment sufficiently aligns with the individual differences among young people with autism? And how do we connect psychiatric expertise, systemic work, daily living conditions, and youth development into one treatment vision?

You do not need to have all the answers upon joining. In fact, we are looking for someone who finds these questions intriguing.

Requirements

• You are a BIG-registered General Orthopedagogue with experience working with youth and their families.
• You are a strong and empathetic colleague who wants to play a valuable role in treatment and can support other colleagues as a team player.
• You are capable of acting decisively and assertively and sharing your opinion.
• You have extensive experience in youth and healthcare, preferably with clients aged 12 to 23 years.

A positive Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is required for this position. Checking references and verifying diplomas are part of the application process.
