The Role

As the Content Marketing Lead, you will take ownership of finmid's top-of-funnel content strategy, leveraging our co-founder's LinkedIn as the primary distribution channel. You will work closely with the founders to produce engaging content that drives pipeline growth, focusing on authentic storytelling rather than polished corporate messaging.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the content strategy and calendar, emphasizing founder-led LinkedIn short-form videos.
• Produce short videos from ideation to publication, highlighting real stories and impacts on SMEs.
• Serve as a producer and ghostwriter for founders, refining insights and articulating their perspectives.
• Transform customer and partner narratives into compelling content that illustrates the economic benefits of embedded financing.
• Repurpose content into sales assets like case studies and one-pagers for outreach.
• Coordinate PR efforts, including partnership announcements, podcast bookings, and article pitches, while managing external agencies as needed.
• Collaborate with the designer to maintain brand consistency in all content produced.
• Connect content efforts to revenue by tracking attribution in our CRM and reporting on pipeline contributions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience creating content for B2B audiences; fintech, SaaS, or financial services experience is advantageous.
• A portfolio showcasing short-form videos you've created, ideally with successful performance on LinkedIn.
• Experience producing or ghostwriting for founders or executives.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills in English, with the ability to simplify complex products.
• Comfortable in front of the camera and behind it when necessary.
• A performance-oriented mindset, with experience in tracking metrics and iterating based on results; familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.
• Understanding of content regulations in the financial industry.
• Ability to maintain a consistent output without direct management.
• Must be based in Berlin or able to travel there regularly for filming sessions with founders.
