The Role

As a Consultant Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing expert care to children with musculoskeletal issues, ensuring high standards of treatment and patient management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and formulate treatment plans for various conditions.
• Perform surgical procedures including corrective osteotomies, fracture management, and deformity corrections.
• Oversee the management of congenital and acquired musculoskeletal disorders in children.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Participate in on-call duties as required.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Board certification in Surgery (American Board, MRCS/FRCS, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years of post-certification experience in paediatric orthopaedic surgery.
• Current medical license to practice in the UAE (or eligibility to obtain).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing patient-centered care.

• Experience with minimally invasive surgical techniques.
