Job Description As a Consultant, you will:

• Assist financial institutions in developing and implementing strategies that address new and existing regulations, focusing on operational risk, digital financial regulation, and consumer protection.
• Support clients in innovating their business models, creating new products, and entering new markets.
• Identify and address shortcomings in internal processes and systems related to regulatory requirements, leveraging data and technology to tackle compliance challenges effectively and innovatively.
• Balance the intent of laws and regulations with the business strategies of our financial services clients.
• Enhance risk management across organizations and programs.
• Contribute to internal service offerings and committees within the Regulatory, Data & Reporting team, while developing your skills through training programs.

• 2-4 years of relevant experience, such as in consulting, banking, a regulatory authority, or FinTech, along with a strong interest in the financial sector, regulation, AI, and/or organizational processes.
• Knowledge and/or experience in areas like risk management, regulation, AI, and technology, with a keen interest in applying them to compliance and risk challenges.
• A proactive, hands-on approach, demonstrating ownership in multidisciplinary projects, effective collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
• Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for solving complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, enabling you to build professional relationships with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

As a Consultant in the Regulatory, Data & Reporting team, you will support clients through various transformations, helping them manage risk with innovative, hands-on guidance. You will navigate complex new laws and regulations while assessing whether clients have the right personnel, organizational structures, and supporting processes in place. You will think creatively while aligning with clients’ strategies and risk appetites, creating meaningful impacts for both clients and society. The team also offers opportunities to develop your expertise in emerging trends, including AI, geopolitics, and data.
