The primary purpose of this role is to assist the Facilities Management (FM) team with escorting duties, enabling FM staff to concentrate on maintenance, compliance, and operational work order management. The post holder's main responsibility is to perform security escort duties, ensuring the safe and compliant movement of contractors, vendors, and visitors within the FCDO estate, in line with FCDO security policies and local site procedures. Additional responsibilities include reception and telephone cover, general administrative support, and facilities management assistance, providing operational support where capacity allows.

• Escort contractors, vendors, and service providers within controlled and secure areas according to FCDO security procedures.
• Attend site daily to receive and escort contractors as scheduled.
• Remain with contractors throughout their visits until they leave secure areas.
• Verify contractor identity and escalate discrepancies immediately.
• Brief contractors on site rules and access restrictions.
• Record escort activity, including date, duration, contractor details, work order, areas accessed, and escorting officer.
• Promptly report contractor non-compliance.
• Assist with scheduling daily escort requirements by updating Outlook and other booking applications.
