Over de gemeente Stadskanaal
De Gemeente Stadskanaal vervult een centrumfunctie voor haar omgeving. De vele bedrijven, winkels, zorgvoorzieningen en recreatiemogelijkheden maken het wonen, werken en recreëren aantrekkelijk. Stadskanaal heeft ongeveer 32.500 inwoners, verdeeld over verschillende kernen en dorpen. Deze zijn gelegen in een groene omgeving, het veenkoloniale kanaallandschap en het lichtglooiende Westerwoldse zandlandschap.
De ongeveer 320 betrokken medewerkers van de gemeente Stadskanaal geven gezicht aan de dienstverlening die wij dagelijks leveren. Om onze ambities te realiseren werken we samen met buurgemeenten, het bedrijfsleven en het maatschappelijk veld.
Doel van de opdracht
Het doel van de opdracht is om zelfstandig te onderzoeken hoe concern control binnen de gemeente Stadskanaal optimaal kan worden ingericht en hierover een concreet, onderbouwd en bestuurlijk uitvoerbaar plan uit te brengen.
