We are seeking a Communications and Content Manager to join Challenge Works, a leader in designing prizes that incentivize innovative solutions for major global challenges. You will play a key role in crafting and executing high-impact communication strategies while collaborating closely with the Senior Communications and Marketing Manager to enhance the Challenge Works brand.

The Role

You will independently design, manage, and execute comprehensive communications and marketing strategies for our challenge prizes, aligning with program teams to achieve communication goals. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the development of multimedia storytelling capabilities.
• Overseeing the production of high-quality video, digital, and editorial content.
• Creating a continuous content strategy for Challenge Works' channels, identifying narratives to strengthen the brand.
• Establishing a framework to track and evaluate communication effectiveness, providing actionable insights.
• Managing relationships with external suppliers to ensure quality outputs and value for money.
• Equipping project teams with communication tools and guidance, including practical toolkits and training sessions.

Requirements

• Significant experience in managing multi-channel marketing and communications campaigns, preferably in innovation, tech, policy, or purpose-driven sectors.
• Proven track record in delivering creative content campaigns, especially with video and digital storytelling.
• Experience in briefing and managing external creative agencies or freelancers.
• Proficiency in developing various content formats using tools like Canva or Adobe.
• Familiarity with managing owned channels, including social media, email marketing, and CMS platforms.
• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of supporting multiple teams effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics into accessible narratives.

What We Offer

• Salary: Circa £50,700, along with benefits such as private medical and dental insurance, annual leave options, and eyecare vouchers.
• Hybrid working model, with two office days per week in London (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
• Flexible hours between 22.5 to 37.5 hours per week; please specify your preference in your application.
