Are you a finance professional with a commercial mindset who thrives in a dynamic international setting? At GXO Logistics, we are seeking a Commercial Controller to lead the financial aspects of new business propositions, ensuring they are both customer-friendly and profitable for GXO. This full-time position is based at our Head Office in Eindhoven, where you will work alongside a fellow controller and the Commercial Director to drive commercial governance across Northern Europe. You will act as a financial partner, providing insights, challenging assumptions, and taking calculated risks even in uncertain situations.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain DCF models to evaluate new propositions financially (payback, ROIC, EBITDA).
Validate cost models based on input from internal specialists to ensure accuracy.
Provide advice throughout the deal process and validate propositions for commercial sign-off.
Engage in iterative discussions with Business Development and Solution Design managers regarding costing, pricing, and commercial scope.
Optimize propositions across multiple tender rounds for the best outcomes for customers and GXO.
Manage the internal mandating and approval process (Delegation of Authority).
Establish financial structures with internal partners (accounting, treasury, tax, credit) and external financiers, adhering to US GAAP.
Convert cost models into consistent pricing and rate cards, supporting contracting and negotiations for smaller customers.
