Advanced Bionics is seeking a (junior) Clinical Specialist for cochlear implants to provide support to cochlear implant centers, hearing care professionals, and AB CI-recipients in the Netherlands. This field-based role is part of the Benelux team, with an office located in Vianen (NL).

De Rol

As a Clinical Specialist, you will serve as the clinical and technical contact for cochlear implant centers and professionals in the Netherlands. Your responsibilities will encompass supporting professionals and patients throughout the cochlear implant patient pathway, including surgical support, fitting and optimization of sound processors, and professional education. Your time will be divided into approximately 60% field work, 20% home office, and 20% team meetings and training.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Provide clinical and technical support to cochlear implant professionals and hearing care professionals.
• Train ENT surgeons, audiologists, and other professionals on the AB cochlear implant system and related tools.
• Assist clinics with processor fitting, troubleshooting, and optimization as needed.
• Conduct on-site and online training sessions for healthcare professionals.
• Support patient information sessions and CI candidate events.
• Guide CI candidates throughout their journey.
• Manage relationships with CI centers and other hearing professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow quality procedures.
• Represent Advanced Bionics within the cochlear implant and audiology community.
• Stay updated on cochlear implantation topics.

Your work will enhance collaboration with clinics and improve outcomes for CI patients.

Vereisten

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology, Medical Technology, or a comparable background.
• Fluent in Dutch with good proficiency in English.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Service-oriented and collaborative mindset.
• Comfortable in a clinical and technology-driven environment.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the territory and internationally.
• Ability to work independently while staying connected to the team.

Experience in audiology and cochlear implants is a strong asset.
