ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization dedicated to bringing new medicines and treatments to patients faster. We are looking for a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join our team in the Breda region. In this role, you will provide trial coordination and site management services for your assigned studies/sites.

The Role

As a CRA, you will independently ensure that your sites are always inspection-ready and will perform various tasks including pretrial assessments, site selection, subject recruitment and retention planning, site initiation, monitoring, and close-out.

Responsibilities

• Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
• Conduct site visits to assess site performance, resolve issues, and provide support for successful trial execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting.
• Provide training and guidance to site staff and other CRAs to maintain high standards of clinical trial conduct.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with site personnel and stakeholders to facilitate smooth trial operations.

Requirements

• Degree in a health or sciences related field.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH Guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in on-site monitoring of clinical studies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with a commitment to quality and customer focus.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
