INK Hotel Amsterdam - MGallery is a luxurious lifestyle hotel with a rich history as the former home of the Dutch newspaper 'De Tijd'. Our restaurant PRESSROOM serves as a welcoming space for guests and locals, featuring delicious dishes crafted by our talented kitchen staff. As a Chef de Partie, you will work in a close-knit team of five, ensuring smooth service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in our à la carte restaurant. Operating in an open kitchen, you will interact with guests while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor. You will also prepare meals for In-Room Dining and small meeting rooms, using your creativity to design custom menus for special requests. You are committed to learning and sharing knowledge, ensuring all mise-en-place is complete, and communicating timely product orders.

Vereisten

• Culinary degree from a reputable institution.
• Minimum one year of experience in a comparable kitchen environment.
• Experience in ordering, receiving, and preparing fresh ingredients.
• Availability for full-time work (38 hours), including weekdays and weekends.
• Flexible schedule for morning or evening shifts.
• Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Knowledge of HACCP hygiene standards.
