The Role
We are looking for a Principal UX Designer to shape the long-term UX vision for HERE’s next-generation mobile application designed for drivers. This role involves collaborating with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams to elevate design standards and ensure exceptional user experiences.
The Role
As a senior design leader, you will define and lead the UX vision, design strategy, and multi-year roadmap for mobile solutions. You will champion a user-centered approach that balances user needs with technical constraints and business objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining and leading the UX vision and design strategy for mobile applications.
- Evolving and scaling design standards and frameworks across platforms.
- Ensuring design excellence and accessibility across product lines.
- Collaborating with various teams to drive cohesive user experiences.
- Influencing senior partners through storytelling and evidence-based insights.
- Leading workshops and design reviews to accelerate product impact.
- Conducting advanced user research to inform product strategy.
- Prototyping future concepts to enhance HERE’s mobile experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in designing complex digital products, particularly consumer mobile applications.
- Proven experience in shaping product experience strategy at scale.
- Strong systems thinking and expertise in design systems for multi-platform environments.
- Excellent visual and interaction design capabilities with a strategic portfolio.
- Expertise in research-driven design and inclusive practices.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills.
- Experience working in international, distributed teams.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
