About the Company

Thermo Fisher Scientific specializes in providing a comprehensive range of biopharmaceutical products, including single-use technologies, analytical instruments, and purification solutions. Our BioProduction Group (BPG) focuses on delivering innovative solutions for the biopharmaceutical industry.

The Role

In the Chromatography Application Team, you will focus on the purification of new biotherapeutics, generating application data using Thermo Fisher's purification resin portfolio. Your work will support our customers and provide valuable data for our marketing team. You will also conduct analytical assays on critical quality attributes and collaborate with colleagues to employ and develop various techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute experiments, analyze and interpret results.
  • Communicate proactively with supervisors and peers to ensure an optimal work environment.
  • Prepare and present summaries and reports of experimental data.
  • Share research findings with colleagues through presentations and discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology, (bio)chemistry, or a related field.
  • Experience in chromatography and familiarity with AKTA systems.
  • Experience in purification/downstream processing of human plasma is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Proficient in English with the ability to present data at internal and external conferences.
