In healthcare, effective staffing planning is not just a paper puzzle, but crucial for team operations and client care. As a Capacity Planner, you ensure that this puzzle fits together. You maintain oversight, think ahead, and ensure that planning, care demand, and capacity align.

The Role

As a Capacity Planner, you will ensure that the right employees are available at the right times. You will assist managers in creating staffing plans for the medium and long term, taking into account care demand, available capacity, regulations, and team preferences.

No day is the same. At times, you will analyze data and prepare reports for managers. Other times, you will advise managers on capacity issues or seek solutions for planning bottlenecks. Additionally, you will contribute to process improvements in planning and capacity management.

About the Company

You will be part of the Planning & Flex Bureau within the Support Services department. The Planning & Flex Bureau consists of 15 planners and collaborates closely with two flex coordinators from our internal staffing agency who manage the flex pool.

During your onboarding period, you will be regularly at the office to get to know your colleagues and the work well. After that, you will have the flexibility to work hybrid: from home and from our office in Middelharnis, depending on what best fits your schedule.

Requirements

• You are analytically strong and quickly see connections in data and planning.
• You can easily switch between different stakeholders, manage diverse interests, and provide clear advice.
• You work accurately, take initiative, and maintain oversight, even under pressure.
• You have at least an mbo-4 diploma in planning or logistics, supplemented with relevant work experience. If you do not have a suitable diploma but can demonstrate hbo work and thinking level and relevant experience, we also welcome your application.
• You have several years of experience in a planning, capacity management, or operations role. Knowledge of or experience in the healthcare sector is a plus.
• You are familiar with collective labor agreement guidelines and relevant labor laws.
• You can work with planning and reporting tools.

• A permanent contract.
• A salary ranging from €3,113 to €4,347 gross per month based on 36 hours (FWG scale 45, CAO disability care as of November 1, 2026).
• An end-of-year bonus of 8.33% and unlimited travel expense reimbursement. All commuting kilometers are reimbursed.
