We are looking for a passionate and people-oriented Café & Breakfast Manager to oversee two distinctive food and beverage concepts in one of Amsterdam's most innovative hospitality destinations. You will manage daily café and breakfast operations, inspire a dynamic team, and foster an environment where both guests and colleagues feel welcome and valued.

Your impact

• Lead the daily operations of two unique hospitality concepts, ensuring an exceptional guest experience from morning until service ends.
• Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing team, creating a culture of authenticity, accountability, and engagement.
• Drive operational excellence while maintaining a warm, welcoming, and community-focused atmosphere.
• Utilize commercial insights and performance data to enhance guest satisfaction, productivity, and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and quality standards across all operations.

What you'll do

• Be a visible, hands-on leader, setting the standard for service excellence.
• Recruit, develop, and retain talented hospitality professionals through coaching and mentoring.
• Manage labor, costs, stock, and operational performance to achieve financial targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless guest experiences and support events as needed.
• Analyze business performance and implement initiatives to increase revenue and operational efficiency.
• Create an environment where guests return due to the atmosphere, service, and genuine hospitality.

Who you are

• Proven experience leading café, breakfast, restaurant, or all-day dining operations within hospitality.
• A confident people manager with a coaching leadership style and a passion for team development.
• Commercially aware with experience managing budgets, labor costs, and operational KPIs.
• Calm under pressure, highly organized, and able to balance operational excellence with outstanding guest experiences.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English.
• Hands-on, energetic, and passionate about creating memorable hospitality experiences.
