The Role

Join our client's team as an Inventory Specialist and contribute significantly to the efficient movement of merchandise in a vibrant retail operations setting. You will utilize digital inventory systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency, ensuring smooth stock transitions from delivery to the sales floor.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing and tracking merchandise using RFID scanners and handheld devices, overseeing inventory flow from receiving to back-of-house, and ensuring timely stocking and replenishment. Your role will also involve using ERP and inventory management software to keep records updated and monitor stock levels in real time.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and track merchandise with RFID technology and handheld digital devices.
  • Oversee inventory flow from receiving to back-of-house, ensuring prompt stocking and replenishment.
  • Utilize ERP and inventory management software for real-time record updates and stock monitoring.
  • Coordinate digital "Buy Online Pick Up In Store" (BOPIS) queues to support a seamless omnichannel experience.
  • Lead stock rotation to enhance sales floor presentation and reduce aging inventory.
  • Collaborate with teams to address inventory discrepancies and resolve back-of-house issues.
  • Safely lift and move merchandise up to 50 lbs as required during daily operations.

Requirements

  • Expertise in RFID technology and handheld scanners for detailed inventory tracking.
  • Proficient in inventory software and ERP systems for data entry and reconciliation.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to lift and handle packages up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a balance of speed and accuracy.
  • Strong spatial organization skills for effective stock management.
  • Collaborative problem-solving approach in fast-paced retail environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in retail operations or back-of-house inventory leadership roles.
  • Background in managing omnichannel inventory flows, including BOPIS fulfillment.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements in digital inventory systems.
