We are a reputable recruitment partner assisting international organizations with intricate supply chain and distribution operations. We are currently seeking an experienced Global Logistics Manager for a full-time remote position, available to candidates in the EMEA region.

The Role

The Global Logistics Manager will oversee international logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods, cost efficiency, and adherence to global trade regulations. This role demands strong leadership skills, expertise in cross-border logistics, and the capability to manage vendors and teams in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage global logistics operations across various countries and regions.
• Develop and execute logistics strategies that align with business growth and operational objectives.
• Oversee international transportation (air, sea, road) and freight forwarding processes.
• Ensure customs clearance, import/export compliance, and proper trade documentation.
• Optimize logistics costs, delivery timelines, and service quality.
• Manage relationships with logistics providers, carriers, and third-party logistics partners.
• Monitor logistics KPIs, performance metrics, and service level agreements.
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, warehouse, and sales teams.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies for cross-border logistics operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles with global exposure.
• Proven track record in managing international and multi-country logistics operations.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding, customs regulations, and trade compliance.
• Experience with logistics systems, ERP, and transportation management tools.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-time-zone environment.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a significant advantage.
