The Role

We are seeking a Business Operations Coordinator who will work closely with teams in the Netherlands and Belgium, reporting to the Senior Operations Manager (Europe). You will ensure that operational activities align with Lyra’s global business and financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Finance Administration for the Netherlands and Belgium:

  • Oversee the Finance Shared Mailbox, handling financial queries and collaborating with operational teams.
  • Manage contractor approval processes, ensuring timely invoice processing.
  • Ensure timely payment processing for affiliates and vendors.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and the international Finance Department for accurate customer billing.
  • Assist with the transition to Netsuite and support credit control and debtor management queries.

• Compliance Liaison:

  • Work with external parties and Lyra's Finance department for documentation and local statutory reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial transactions and operational procedures according to local laws and corporate policies.
  • Manage insurance compliance, ensuring necessary coverage for the office and employees.

• Local and Regional Operational Support:

  • Oversee daily operations of the Dutch office and manage vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain records and liaise with international teams for operational support.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative assistance to other European entities as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in a role with significant administrative and financial responsibilities, preferably in an international business environment.
• Experience in project coordination and process setup.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
• Strong ability to manage sensitive financial data with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and experience with enterprise-level systems.
