BUSINESS MANAGER NETHERLANDS (VIE) – ref JOB-1553

This position is part of the French VIE program (Volontariat International) and is based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, for an initial 12-month duration, renewable once, leading to a long-term role.

The Role

As the Netherlands Business Manager (NBM), you will play a crucial role in driving the commercial development, sales, and business activities of Aldebaran Group services. Your focus will include various industrial sectors such as renewable energy, nuclear, onshore and offshore wind, infrastructure, water, and solar, with additional emphasis on petrochemicals, chemicals, and refining in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Netherlands, conducting marketing activities with clients.
• Enhance the company’s visibility among current and prospective clients, securing new business.
• Strengthen existing relationships and establish a strong commercial presence in the energy services sector.
• Support prequalification processes and proposal preparation, including pricing and offers.
• Maintain regular communication with consultants to monitor assignments, ensure their well-being, and generate new opportunities.
• Achieve sales targets and maintain required profit margins.

Management Responsibilities

• Monitor consultant costs closely to ensure expected margins are upheld from tender stages.
• Communicate with clients to ensure satisfactory contract performance, proactively identifying potential risks.
• Coordinate with client finance and accounting departments for timely payments.
• Follow up regularly with consultants to ensure satisfaction and mission continuity.

Recruitment Responsibilities

As a key figure in the company, your involvement in the recruitment process is essential. You will work alongside recruitment specialists in France or abroad, participating in the final profile validation before submission.

Your Profile

You possess a Master’s degree (or higher), such as:

• An engineering degree with a strong interest in business development.
• A business school degree with a keen interest in technical environments.

You have a strong awareness of environmental issues, coupled with a pragmatic and realistic approach. Open-minded and curious, you excel in interpersonal skills and can engage with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds. This role requires travel from Rotterdam to various industrial sites and client offices across the country, necessitating a valid driving license.

Mandatory Requirements

This position is exclusively available to candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Hold a French social security number (a requirement for VIE compliance in the Netherlands).
• Fluent in English (C1 level).
• Proficient in Dutch (B2 or C1 level).
