The Role:

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and market development for PHC Europe products and services in Belgium. This role requires a self-motivated and entrepreneurial individual to establish and expand our presence in a new market, fostering commercial success from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Drive sales of PHC Europe products and services, offering expert product knowledge and after-sales support.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospects, customers, and end users through site visits, seminars, exhibitions, and networking events.
• Identify new business opportunities to support market penetration and growth in the assigned territory.
• Organize and execute promotional, marketing, and business development activities in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
• Deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and technical training to customers and stakeholders.
• Attend sales meetings to contribute to market development, product positioning, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Develop annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and action plans in partnership with the Export Manager.

Requirements:

• Proven success in business development and sales within the Life Sciences, Diagnostics, Medical Device, or Pharmaceutical sectors.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a territory and customer base from scratch.
• Strong commercial acumen with a record of identifying opportunities, winning new business, and driving revenue growth.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing decision-makers at all levels.
• Confidence in working independently and taking ownership of market development activities in a new and evolving environment.
• Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and CRM systems.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
