De Rol

As a Business Controller Acquisitions, you will report to the Group Business Controller and be part of the Business Control team. Your role is crucial in supporting the acquisition team by ensuring the integrity of the acquisition pipeline information and acting as a financial sparring partner for the business.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Collaborate with the acquirer to develop investment models during go/no-go decisions and prepare investment proposals.
• Monitor and enhance the quality of valuation models, focusing on continuous process improvement with other departments and external parties.
• Evaluate underlying documentation such as LOIs, agreements, and investment proposals from a financial and risk management perspective.
• Support the preparation of internal reports regarding acquisitions, including pipeline overviews, KPI dashboards, period closures, liquidity forecasts, quarterly reports, budgets, and forecasts, while conducting various analyses for the department.
• Manage project administration in close collaboration with the Accounting and Reporting departments.
• Provide both solicited and unsolicited advice, along with ad hoc analyses related to acquisitions and ongoing projects.

To excel in this role, we seek a communicative candidate who can effectively bridge Finance and the Business. You should have:

• Excellent knowledge and experience in creating reports, structuring data, and analyzing financial information.
• Familiarity with investment models and the ability to recognize real estate and project-related risks.
• A result-oriented, accurate, and meticulous approach, complemented by strong analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented, service-focused mindset.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably in business economics, business administration, or accountancy) with additional specialization in real estate and at least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of real estate accounting, valuation, and terminology, along with proficiency in MS Office and data warehouse environments.
