De Rol:

As a Building Surveyor MEP, you will be part of the Transactional Services team. This team serves national and international Lenders & Investors (L&I) clients and works on projects in the Netherlands and occasionally abroad. For international portfolios, you will collaborate with colleagues from Europe and the UK. The work environment is dynamic and often involves tight deadlines. Therefore, collaboration, support, and enjoyment are top priorities for the team.

In your role, you will conduct Technical Due Diligence (TDD) assessments alongside colleagues, evaluating building-related installations for their technical condition, compliance with laws and regulations, and identifying CAPEX investments. You will report the results clearly and concretely in English according to Arcadis' European standards.

The Transactional Services team is part of the Program Management & Construction Management consultancy group. This group consists of 50 colleagues with diverse backgrounds, expertise, and experience. The department's main focus is on Transactional Services, Project Management, and Asset Consultancy. The consultancy group operates from offices in Rotterdam, Den Bosch, and Amersfoort.

The Transactional Services (TS) team plays a crucial role in real estate transactions. They work for leading national and international Lenders & Investors (L&I) and are involved in impactful projects throughout the Netherlands and frequently abroad. For international portfolios, you will closely collaborate with colleagues from Europe and the UK. This collaboration gives the work a distinctly international character and provides ample opportunities for knowledge sharing, perspective, and personal growth.

The world of Transactional Services is dynamic, sharp, and always in motion. Projects often have short turnaround times and require flexibility and decisiveness. This is why the team forms a close and supportive environment where collaboration, mutual support, and enjoyment of work are paramount. Kwalificaties & Ervaring:

We are looking for a communicative Building Surveyor with a technical background, who is a team player and problem solver, viewing deadlines as a challenge and gaining energy from successful projects and satisfied clients.

Jouw profiel:

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a technical background, preferably in Installation Technology;
• Experience in conducting Technical Due Diligence (TDD) of buildings is a plus;
• Broad knowledge of and affinity with buildings and (installation) technology;
• Flexible attitude; able and willing to travel and work nationally and sometimes internationally;
• Proactive, results-oriented, with a commercial mindset;
• Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
