Als Breeding Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor de strategische en procesmatige aansturing van onze veredelingsprogramma’s wereldwijd. Je coacht en begeleidt de veredelingsteams, ontwikkelt programma’s en stelt veredelingsdoelen vast. Bij Rijk Zwaan hechten we veel waarde aan persoonlijke ontwikkeling en een positieve werksfeer. Je werkt samen met je collega-Breeding Manager om de afdeling in Nederland te leiden. Je taken omvatten:
- Beheren van de wereldwijde portfolio aan veredelingsprogramma’s en prebreeding projecten.
- Stimuleren van de implementatie van nieuwe veredelingstechnieken.
- Regelmatig bezoeken van veredelingsteams wereldwijd en buitenlandse R&D-directeuren.
- Volgen van ontwikkelingen op het gebied van intellectueel eigendom.
- Samenwerken met diverse afdelingen.
