Lantmännen Seed B.V. specializes in the breeding and selection of grains and potatoes. Based in Emmeloord, our small team continuously works on developing new varieties of these crops. We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Breeding Assistant (38 hours).
The Role
As a Breeding Assistant, you will contribute to the development of new crop varieties, working both in the field and in the greenhouse. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Sowing and planting trials
- Assisting with crossing activities
- Evaluating various crop traits
- Purifying selections and propagations
- Harvesting and analyzing trials
- Cleaning and packaging trial materials
