The Role

We are looking for a self-motivated, results-oriented, and enthusiastic individual to work on various collections and accounts receivable duties within our B2B programs. You will interact with internal teams and external clients, customers, and merchants, displaying a strong sense of urgency and ownership when handling customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed all criteria and expectations of a CARS I.
• Establish and maintain relationships with strategic customers.
• Communicate directly and regularly with TreviPay’s clients regarding key customers.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert in AR and/or multiple AR programs/systems.
• De-escalate challenging situations with customers, clients, or merchants.
• Provide primary support for escalated inquiries from internal and external customers.
• Recognize and resolve complex issues quickly, conducting research and analysis as necessary.
• Assist with training and mentoring Accounts Receivable Specialists.
• Navigate challenging conversations while adapting to various communication styles.
• Minimal travel to customer locations as needed.
• Exceed expectations for department metrics and Service Level Agreements.
• Proactively contact customers to address and identify issues.
• Serve as a shift point of contact providing direction to the team.
• Maintain existing process documentation and assist in creating documentation for new processes.
• Demonstrate professionalism and help create a culture of excellence.
• Provide assistance to internal departments addressing program challenges.
• Conduct testing and QA of the system, escalating defects as necessary.
• Assist Leadership in completing Receivable tasks for new program implementations.

Requirements

• 2 years of related accounts receivable experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as Dutch, German, French, or Spanish are a plus.
• Strong ability to resolve challenging customer situations.
• Solid negotiation skills under difficult circumstances.
• Excellent listening skills and coachable with the ability to improve performance.
• Highly competent with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and strong critical thinking skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
