In this role, you'll collaborate closely with product managers, algorithm developers, and application engineers to implement and deploy new product features, while also contributing creative ideas to enhance software performance.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining software for both internal and external products at Bloomlife. Your day-to-day tasks include:

• Taking ownership of specific software modules, ensuring quality and interoperability with the overall software stack.
• Setting up unit and integration testing, along with the necessary tools to monitor software performance.
• Collaborating with product engineers and algorithm developers to deliver robust, well-documented software modules ready for deployment.
• Providing guidance on industry best practices for design, testing, and security.

Requirements

To excel in this position, you should have:

• A background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of software development experience in an Agile or similar environment.
• Proficiency in writing unit tests and developing testable code.
• Experience in at least two of the following areas: Medical Device Software (ISO 62304 / 82304), Cloud development (AWS, Terraform), Web app development (React.js, Tailwind), Backend development (Kotlin, PostgreSQL), Healthcare system and EMR integration (e.g., FHIR), HIPAA compliance, and Cybersecurity.

Nice to Have

• Experience in shipping commercial products from specifications to release management.
• Familiarity with the IEC 62304 medical device software standard.
• Knowledge of Linux, Docker, and DevOps practices.
