About the Company

The Role

As a Hotel Operations Manager, you will lead your team, fostering their professional and personal growth while ensuring an engaging team atmosphere. You will oversee daily operations and be a hands-on leader, ensuring exceptional service and compliance with our quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead your team with a focus on professional and personal development through coaching and feedback.
  • Create effective duty and holiday schedules, ensuring smooth workflows.
  • Actively participate in daily operations, leading briefings and exemplifying outstanding service.
  • Uphold Ruby's internal styles and quality standards.
  • Assist in recruiting top talent to build a strong team.
  • Manage monthly closings, inventories, invoice control, payroll preparations, and regular orders for F&B and operating supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, safety, and legal regulations.
  • Collect and respond to guest feedback, addressing concerns with creative solutions.

Requirements

  • Completed professional training in the hotel industry or a degree in hospitality/business administration.
  • Experience in an operational leadership role within lifestyle hospitality or gastronomy.
  • Proficient in POS, PMS, and business management.
  • Charismatic and motivating leader with a genuine and loyal nature.
  • Excellent communication skills and a warm personality.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
