The Role

As a Bartender at Pulitzer’s Bar, you will craft an exceptional bar experience from the moment guests arrive until their last drink. Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing and serving cocktails, wines, beers, and other beverages, ensuring each drink meets our high standards.
• Welcoming guests, taking orders, and recommending drinks based on their preferences.
• Sharing the stories behind our drinks and creating a personal connection with guests.
• Maintaining an organized bar area, restocking products, handling payments, and ensuring cleanliness.
• Collaborating closely with your team, especially during busy services and events, to support one another.
• Observing the overall guest experience and anticipating their needs to enhance their evening.

In essence, you will not only be crafting drinks but also creating an inviting atmosphere and ensuring that Pulitzer’s Bar is a place guests want to return to.

Requirements

• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wines, and beers, or a willingness to learn.
• Friendly and engaging personality, with a natural ability to connect with diverse guests.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during busy services.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining quality and attention to detail in a clean and organized bar.
• Responsibility and initiative in problem-solving when challenges arise.
• Team player who communicates professionally and enjoys supporting colleagues.
