We are looking for a Backend Engineer to create and develop the backend services that support our product. This position will focus on APIs, data systems, and the infrastructure that influences the user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement backend services, APIs, and data systems.
• Design data models and APIs that can scale with the product.
• Write clean, well-tested code with thoughtful architectural decisions.
• Identify and resolve performance and reliability issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural strategies.
• Collaborate with frontend, infrastructure, and product teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in building production backend systems.
• Proficient in at least one server-side language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Node.js).
• Strong understanding of both relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience in designing REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud services and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid foundation in system design principles.
