The Role
We are seeking LGV Class 1 drivers for tramping work based out of Immingham Port in the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering various bulk goods to clients throughout the UK and Southern Ireland. As a bulk container driver, your duties will include driving, loading, unloading, and engaging in on-site activities at different locations and terminals. You will transport liquid and dry bulk products such as beer, sugar, chocolate, and plant oil in bulk containers. Additionally, you will check equipment, report malfunctions, and manage on-site procedures.
Requirements
- LGV / HGV Class 1 licence with valid CPC and Digi card
- Experience in transporting dry and/or liquid bulk products preferred, but not essential (full training provided at the company’s own academy)
- Positive and flexible attitude
- Living close to Immingham is preferred; must be within a realistic commuting distance
- Willingness to work tramping (nights out required)
