We are looking for skilled professionals proficient in LibreCAD who can manage complete 2D CAD drafting projects, from initial concept to export-ready technical drawings.

The Role

You will lead comprehensive 2D drafting projects in LibreCAD, showcasing your entire workflow, including geometry creation, snap and constraint utilization, and organizational strategies. Your responsibilities will include setting up drawing units, layers, and managing blocks for optimal clarity and consistency, applying technical dimensioning and annotation according to manufacturing or CNC standards, and preparing files in formats such as DXF for downstream manufacturing or CAM workflows. You will also communicate your decision-making processes to support AI learning models and collaborate closely with the client's team, providing insights into professional 2D CAD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead complete 2D drafting projects in LibreCAD from concept to final exports.
• Showcase and articulate your workflow, including geometry creation and organizational strategies.
• Set up drawing units, layers, and manage blocks for clarity and consistency.
• Apply technical dimensioning, annotation, and detailing as per manufacturing or CNC requirements.
• Prepare and export files in formats like DXF for manufacturing or CAM.
• Communicate your drafting decisions to aid in AI development.
• Collaborate with the client's team, offering insights into professional 2D CAD workflows.

Requirements

• Expert-level hands-on experience in LibreCAD for 2D technical drafting.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with standard 2D CAD workflows.
• Deep understanding of Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) concepts.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end drafting projects using LibreCAD.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially in complex drafting logic.
• Proficiency in organizing, annotating, and exporting technical drawings for manufacturing.
• Attention to detail and a passion for drafting best practices.

Nice to Have
