The Role

We are a leading global exchange focused on delivering institutional-grade infrastructure for the digital asset economy. As we broaden our presence in the CIS region, we are looking for an Institutional Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth among dynamic market participants. In this role, you will serve as the main liaison for hedge funds, family offices, and asset managers, aligning our premier liquidity offerings with the specific needs of the Eastern European and CIS institutional landscape.

The Role

You will be responsible for identifying, pitching, and onboarding top-tier institutional clients, including hedge funds, family offices, and proprietary trading firms within the CIS region. Acting as a strategic partner for our institutional clients, you will ensure they have comprehensive access to our liquidity, API infrastructure, and tailored trading services. You will also develop and implement a robust business development strategy aimed at the Russian-speaking market, adeptly navigating local business nuances and institutional requirements. Collaborating with our product and engineering teams, you will relay client feedback to help shape our institutional offerings, such as sub-account structures, custody solutions, and prime brokerage services. Additionally, you will represent the exchange at key regional industry events and exclusive institutional forums to cultivate a trusted network of decision-makers.

Requirements

  • Native-level fluency in Russian (written and spoken) and professional-level English
  • Over 5 years of experience in Institutional Sales, Business Development, or Prime Brokerage (in Traditional Finance or Crypto)
  • A well-established network within the CIS hedge fund and family office ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of exchange operations, including API connectivity, margin trading, and custody frameworks
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a remote-first, fast-paced global team across various time zones.
