In this role, you will be a vital link between patients and ENT doctors, performing hearing tests and discussing results with patients. You will conduct various assessments, including tone and speech audiometry, tympanometry, and OAE tests, ensuring results are accurately documented. Your responsibilities include:

• Performing tone and speech audiometry tests.
• Conducting tympanometry measurements and OAE assessments.
• Documenting and evaluating your findings in the electronic patient record.
• Discussing your findings with the ENT doctor to determine next steps with the patient.
• Registering patients and performing other administrative tasks as needed.

You will have significant patient contact and manage a substantial portion of your own clinic, requiring independence, good preparation, and flexibility to adapt to changing schedules.

Over het Team:

You will work in the ENT outpatient clinic within a stable and engaged team, collaborating with other audiology assistants, clinic assistants, and doctors, maintaining close contact with ENT specialists. The clinic operates from locations in Utrecht, Nieuwegein, Woerden, and Houten, with work locations coordinated in consultation. Together, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care and have the opportunity to suggest improvements to workflows.

• A salary up to €3,882 gross per month (FWG scale 40, CAO Hospitals) for a 36-hour work week, depending on your education and experience.
• A one-year contract for 24 hours per week, with the prospect of a permanent position.

Vereisten:

• A diploma as an audiology assistant or a diploma in speech therapy/audiology with experience and a passion for audiology.
• Proficiency in Dutch, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work independently and handle research results and patient data carefully.
• Willingness to work at various clinic locations as needed.
• Experience with or knowledge of bone-anchored hearing aids (BAHA) is a plus!
