The Role

As the EMEA Associate Buyer for Maintenance Technical and Facility Services, you will manage basic sourcing activities across countries. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and executing procurement activities, supporting high-value sourcing events led by the category buying team, and managing supplier contracts.

Responsibilities

• Execute low to medium complexity procurement activities.
• Prepare and maintain supplier contracts in line with company policies.
• Assist senior category buyers in sourcing initiatives and supplier events.
• Implement local sourcing decisions and support regional sourcing implementations.
• Provide data analysis to the category buying team for strategy development.
• Develop an understanding of the local procurement landscape and resolve supplier issues.
• Follow procurement procedures for selecting suppliers of non-contracted services.
• Administer transactions related to service procurement.
• Address basic issues under supervision and escalate complex problems as needed.
• Maintain accurate procurement reporting and documentation, including performance metrics and KPIs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP.
• Background in working with suppliers or third parties.
• Knowledge of additional languages (French, German, or Dutch).
