About the Role
As the Assistant Housekeeping Director, you will collaborate with the Director of Housekeeping to manage the department's daily operations, ensuring cleanliness, presentation, and service excellence throughout the property.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing all Housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Housekeeping team to achieve outstanding performance and service standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to uphold the highest cleanliness and presentation levels.
- Support scheduling, staffing, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, supplies, and departmental expenses.
- Professionally handle guest requests and concerns, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to provide a seamless guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience in Housekeeping, preferably in a luxury hotel.
- Strong organizational and team management skills.
