We are looking for an Assessment Specialist to create, validate, and enhance assessments for our educational programs. This position requires a blend of psychometric expertise and content knowledge to ensure assessments accurately measure intended outcomes.

The Role

You will be responsible for designing assessment items, rubrics, and scoring guides that align with learning objectives. Additionally, you'll conduct item analysis, reliability testing, and validation studies, while maintaining item banks and assessment blueprints. Collaborating with subject matter experts for item review and content alignment is essential, as is training scorers to ensure inter-rater reliability for rubric-based assessments. Documenting psychometric methodologies and design decisions is also part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop assessment items, scoring rubrics, and guides that reflect learning outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in assessment design, psychometrics, or educational measurement.
• Strong grasp of assessment validity, reliability, and item analysis.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as R, SPSS, and Excel.
• Exceptional writing and editing capabilities.
• A Master's degree in measurement, psychometrics, or education is preferred.
• Familiarity with assessment platforms and item banking systems.
