Ben jij een arts die zich wil ontwikkelen tot generalist in het ziekenhuis? Bij UMC Utrecht bieden we een opleiding tot ziekenhuisarts KNMG, waar je een sleutelrol speelt in zorgcoördinatie en kwaliteitsverbetering in de zorg.
Als arts in opleiding tot ziekenhuisarts KNMG ben je verantwoordelijk voor de zorgcoördinatie binnen ons ziekenhuis. Je werkt nauw samen met specialisten, verpleegkundigen en paramedici op verschillende afdelingen en zorgt voor continuïteit in de zorg voor patiënten met complexe aandoeningen. Je brengt generalistische medische kennis in een steeds meer gefragmenteerd zorglandschap en hebt de kans om te werken aan kwaliteitsverbeteringsprojecten.
De Opleiding
De opleiding duurt drie jaar bij een fulltime aanstelling. In het eerste jaar loop je diverse stages binnen de interne geneeskunde, gevolgd door vier stages van vier maanden in anesthesiologie, chirurgie, geriatrie en neurologie. Je doet ook twee maanden stage bij de huisarts en revalidatiegeneeskunde om inzicht te krijgen in de eerste lijn. Het laatste halfjaar is op een afdeling naar keuze met een klinisch kwaliteitsproject.
