Join one of Europe's fastest growing fitness operators as an Area Manager in Amsterdam, overseeing approximately 15 clubs. This hands-on role focuses on driving performance through effective leadership and operational excellence.

As an Area Manager for Fitness Clubs in Amsterdam, you will take full ownership of a portfolio of around 15 clubs. This commercially driven position requires you to actively shape the performance of these clubs through the management teams on-site.

The Role

You will be responsible for the commercial and operational success across your clubs, driving sales, member conversion, and retention performance through your Club Managers. Regular site visits will allow you to coach and develop your management team, implement improvement plans for underperforming clubs, and ensure maintenance and safety issues are addressed promptly. You will also keep your Operations Director updated with a weekly overview of results and opportunities.

Responsibilities

Take full commercial and operational accountability across approximately 15 clubs.
Drive sales, member conversion, and retention performance through your Club Managers.
Regularly visit sites to coach and develop your management team.
Implement clear improvement plans for underperforming clubs.
Provide weekly updates to your Operations Director on results and opportunities.
Ensure maintenance and safety issues are resolved quickly and effectively.

Requirements

Genuine multi-site leadership experience, ideally across five or more locations, with real P&L ownership.
Comfortable on the gym floor, not just focused on numbers.
Proven track record of driving sales and retention results through a team.
Data-driven leader who prioritizes coaching and people development.
Confident communicator with senior stakeholders.
Background in fitness, hospitality, retail, or another consumer-facing sector is preferred.

What We Offer

Competitive salary up to €60,000 gross per year (dependent on experience), plus an 8% holiday allowance and a KPI-linked bonus.
