In this hourly, remote contractor position, you will serve as the Architecture & Design Quality Assurance Lead, responsible for overseeing quality, consistency, and trainer performance across various AI training projects related to architecture, interior design, urban design, and the built environment. Your primary tasks will involve reviewing AI-generated architecture and design content, evaluating output quality against project guidelines, providing detailed written feedback, and ensuring adherence to quality standards by all contributors.

De Rol

You will assess design accuracy, spatial reasoning, architectural terminology, building systems awareness, code/safety sensitivity, sustainability considerations, visual/design logic, clarity, formatting, instruction-following, and adherence to project-specific rubrics. Your responsibilities will include identifying recurring quality issues, communicating updates to trainers and QAs, supporting onboarding, maintaining documentation, and activating contributors who are not consistently engaged.

• Quality monitoring: Spot-check architecture/design items, identify quality issues, and provide ongoing feedback through direct messages.
• Design review: Evaluate AI-generated architecture/design explanations, spatial layouts, design concepts, and more for accuracy and practicality.
• Trainer and QA communication: Update trainers and QAs on Discord regarding guidelines, changes, and quality expectations.
• Question handling: Respond promptly to trainer/QA inquiries related to spatial logic, design terminology, and more.
• Trainer/QA activation management: Encourage inactive contributors to engage and track follow-ups.
• Documentation: Create and maintain project documentation, including style guides and quality notes.
• Onboarding and training: Conduct onboarding calls to explain project expectations and quality standards.
• Quality alignment: Ensure consistent application of review guidelines among all trainers and QAs.
• Risk review: Flag unsafe or impractical architecture/design recommendations.
• Process improvement: Identify quality gaps and propose workflow enhancements for scalable QA processes.

Vereisten

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or professional degree in a relevant field such as Architecture or Interior Design.
• Strong English communication skills for following guidelines and providing feedback.
• 3+ years of experience in architecture, design, or related workflows.
• Deep understanding of design principles, spatial organization, and building systems.
• Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics and identify issues.
• Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
• Experience leading remote teams is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable with fast-paced remote environments and various project management tools.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Experience with AI training or design QA is a strong plus.
